The method used is the Juridical Empirical Method which functions to see the law in a real sense and examines how the law works in the community. By using data collection techniques through interviews to obtain the required data. The findings of this study are Mental Health Problems are important things but are not paid attention to by the government. Government policies related to Mental Health have been regulated in Law no. 18 of 2014, is aimed at ensuring that everyone can achieve a good quality of life, as well as providing integrated, comprehensive, and sustainable health services through promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative efforts. The local government in Karanganyar District has made efforts to support the Mental Health Policy through the DSSJ/KSSJ (Desa/Kelurahan Siaga Mental Sehat) program. This program is a socialization and early detection activity that has been carried out with the involvement of local governments, relevant agencies, and the community.
