CARADDE: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat provides opportunities for readers, researchers, and the academic community to submit responses, critiques, questions, or scientific discussions regarding published articles. This policy aims to encourage constructive academic dialogue, improve the quality of scientific publications, and maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of published knowledge.

  1. Submission of Responses and Discussions

Readers may submit comments, critiques, questions, or academic responses regarding published articles through the official communication channels of CARADDE, such as the journal’s editorial email or other discussion facilities provided on the journal website. All responses must be delivered in a respectful manner, supported by logical arguments, and based on relevant scientific evidence or references.

  1. Editorial Review of Post-Publication Discussions

Every response received by the journal will be reviewed by the editorial team to assess its scientific relevance, substantive accuracy, compliance with academic ethics, and appropriateness of language. The editorial team will ensure that submitted discussions do not contain personal attacks, discriminatory statements, defamation, or unsupported allegations.

When necessary, the editor may request an independent expert opinion or invite the authors of the published article to provide clarification or responses regarding the issues raised.

  1. Authors’ Right to Respond

Authors are given a fair opportunity to respond to comments, criticisms, or questions related to their published articles. Responses from authors must be presented professionally, objectively, and based on scientific evidence without containing personal attacks or inappropriate statements.

The editorial team may publish the author’s response together with the submitted comments or publish it separately as an academic response, depending on editorial considerations and the significance of the discussion.

  1. Publication of Scientific Discussions

If a post-publication response is considered to provide meaningful academic contributions, CARADDE may publish the discussion in the form of a Letter to the Editor, Scientific Commentary, Author Response, or other appropriate publication formats.

Any discussion manuscript intended for publication must undergo editorial evaluation and, when necessary, peer-review to ensure its scientific quality and compliance with publication ethics.

  1. Handling of Errors or Ethical Violations Discovered After Publication

If post-publication discussions reveal substantial errors, inaccurate information, data inconsistencies, plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, or other violations of research and publication ethics, the editorial team will conduct further investigation based on available evidence.

Depending on the results of the investigation, CARADDE may issue:

  1. Correctionfor errors that do not affect the overall validity of the article;
  2. Expression of Concernwhen serious concerns require further investigation;
  3. Retractionwhen major ethical violations or invalid findings are confirmed.

All actions will be carried out in accordance with established publication ethics standards and guidelines.
