Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials for the subject of Innovation and Education Globalization Studies. Methods using Research and Development; Borg, Gall, and Sukmadinata models. The study used a descriptive approach. The sample was 25 students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in 2021. Data were collected using observation, survey, test, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of the study found valid teaching materials through validity testing, with the stages of preliminary studies, needs analysis, preparation of initial products, validation of experts, five sample individual tests, and revisions according to expert advice and individual test results until declared feasible by experts. Practical teaching materials through a small group test of 10 samples and are known to be suitable for use in the learning process and tested in large groups. The potential effect of teaching materials obtained through a large group test of 25 people is known to be very effective on cognitive aspects and effective on affective and psychomotor aspects. The supporting factor for the success of testing the potential effects of the product is the good attitude and cooperation of the research sample, while the inhibiting factor is the Covid-19 atmosphere which limits the space for face-to-face learning.
