Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using Trainer Alternating Currents in learning power electronics in the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University. This research uses the Pre-Experimental Design method. The research design applied was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this design, students only consist of one group, namely the experimental group. The research results showed that for classes given treatment using the Alternating Current Trainer Alternating Current, it was effectively used for learning power electronics, this can be seen from the difference in the average pretest and posttest results so that the n-gain results showed a value of 0.37 or 37% so it was said effective in implementation
