Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh behavior contract terhadap disiplin kehadiran siswa SMP yang sering bolos sekolah. Masalah bolos sekolah dapat berdampak negatif terhadap prestasi akademik dan perkembangan sosial siswa. Intervensi behavior contract, yang melibatkan kesepakatan tertulis antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua mengenai komitmen kehadiran, diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, setiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan behavior contract mampu meningkatkan kehadiran siswa. Pada siklus pertama, keterlibatan orang tua dan konsistensi pemberian penghargaan masih menjadi kendala, namun setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus kedua, terjadi peningkatan disiplin kehadiran siswa. Dari 10 siswa yang ditargetkan, 8 siswa berhasil memenuhi target kehadiran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa behavior contract efektif meningkatkan disiplin kehadiran siswa dengan melibatkan orang tua secara aktif dan memberikan penghargaan yang sesuai dengan preferensi siswa.
